Bywaters proudly operates across the whole of the UK, with a specially designed, ‘proximity principle’-inspired operations for sustainable waste management and recycling in London.
Through our ‘London for London’ initiative, Bywaters constantly reduces carbon emissions associated with our waste management services in order to keep London’s air clean. And we devise London-focused environmental solutions such as transporting waste by barge to ease congestion, and installing 4,000 solar panels on the roof of our facility in East London.

‘London for London’ is founded on the proximity principle: a core tenet of waste management that states waste should be disposed of as close to its point of origin as possible.
