Bywaters has strengthened its IT management infrastructure with an upgrade to Entropy, a compliance system by BSI.

Upgrading Our Service

This IT upgrade will allow “overarching compliance assurance” for senior members of staff, clients, and stakeholders – including serving customers, MRF operations, yard, and back office support such as accounts.

Bywaters will also benefit from reduction in audit dates, the ability to link the business performance and reporting via an electronic App, while using a company partner and brand that is UKAS accredited. This will help maximise return on investment and repeat business.

A Welcome Improvement

Nir Barak, Head Of SHEQ at Bywaters, commented on our new partnership with BSI:

“The decision to move over to BSI was made following the weighing of a few factors being: the service level, the audit value, the need for a fresh per of eyes, and the need for a new long term partnership, while all is underpinned by the goal of bringing the management system within one hub supported by a system that can support the business current and future needs.”

He continued:

“During 2019 we will be looking to introduce the BSI compliance tool, ‘Entropy’ as the new core of our management systems compliance database, capturing the performance of our H&S, Quality and Environmental compliance. We will also be launching BSI Incident reporting and auditing App and complete the transition from OHSAS 18001:2007 to the new H&S standard ISO 45001.”
