Fluorescent tubes are covered by a number of pieces of Regulation including The Hazardous Waste Regulations; The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive (WEEE) and the Landfill Directive. The result is that recycling is the only really viable option for this material.
Bywaters Fluorescent Tube Station allows whole fluorescent tubes (of all sizes) to be stored safely and in accordance with environmental regulations. These all-weather containers can be stored inside or outside. Once full, they can be stacked, minimising storage space.
The Tube Station can hold up to 100 six-foot florescent tubes. Once full, simply contact us and we will arrange for collection on our dedicated vehicle. The tubes will then be taken to a local facility for recycling.
