On Tuesday 22nd June 2010 there was a fire at Bywaters Recycling and Waste Management Centre, Leyton, after some rubbish ignited.
The fire was an unfortunate incident and thanks to the prompt response of the Fire Brigade, and the robust Accident and Emergency Procedures that the Bywaters' Compliance Team have in place, the fire was dealt with efficiently with no injuries and business was resumed the following morning.
We would like to thank everyone involved for their prompt and professional response.
