Bywaters is delighted to announce that for the 6th year running it will be providing a Recycling and Resource Management service for the 2010 Virgin London Marathon.
The London Marathon, held every year since 1981, is now the largest annual fund raising event in the world and attracts runners and spectators from around the globe.
On Sunday 25th April Bywaters will litter pick, collect and recycle the Resource at the finish line. The dry recyclables will then be processed at Bywaters' state-of-the-art undercover Materials Recovery Facility, the largest facility of its kind in London. And it is estimated that in excess of 90% of the Marathon’s Resource will be recycled.
Bywaters has extensive experience of providing Recycling and Resource Management services to special events such as Wimbledon, Notting Hill Carnival and the Queen’s Club Championship.
