Bywaters provides implementation support to businesses that convert to our unique 'Bycycler' recycling system. This is done in a variety of ways including providing communication materials and holding staff awareness days.
On 11th January, Bywaters held an awareness day at United House, a specialist housing construction company. Throughout the day, Bywaters' employees gave presentations to United House staff explaining the new recycling scheme. They talked about how to maximise recycling and the simple steps required to segregate dry recyclables from residual Resource.
As a company, United House is very proactive in terms of recycling and with Bywaters' support and assistance, the company has also set up a Recycling Centre for all staff to use for their domestic recycling.
Overall, the awareness day was very productive, with constructive and positive feedback received. It gave Bywaters the opportunity to work closely with United House and provided cleaning staff and other employees with the necessary knowledge, enabling them to effectively maximise their recycling rates.
