Bywaters is delighted to announce that it is a finalist in the Archant London Environmental Awards 2008, Environmental Business of the Year, Best Recycling Project.
Archant London Environment Awards are sponsored by Lloyds TSB and are designed to recognise the initiatives aimed at promoting a healthier environment. Boroughs and districts put their best schemes forward to have a chance of being regarded as one of the best environmentally friendly boroughs/communities.
Bywaters entered the Best Recycling project category for the state of the art MRF, which with a capacity of 250,000 tonnes per annum, is a modern approach to recycling and waste management. By entering the Award, Bywaters wished to showcase their innovative recycling and waste management work, whilst raising the bar within the industry.
The Environmental awards will take place in London on Friday 7 November 2008, where Bywaters will compete against for the title of Environmental Business of the year, Best Recycling project.
