Bywaters is committed to reducing its impact on the environment by directly implementing measures that will cut down its carbon emissions.
For this reason, on 1st November 2007, Bywaters formalised its carbon emissions policy based on striving to reduce real carbon emissions rather than relying on carbon offsetting.
This policy is based on best practice guidelines issued by the Carbon Trust - an independent government-funded company set up to help the UK meet its climate change obligations.
