Home > News 2006 > Growth leads to company internal reorganisation

9th May 2006:
London's winning of the Olympics bid has brought with it a unique opportunity for Bywaters' growth.

Following the acquisition of new (and much larger) premises in Bow, an internal reorganisation has been undertaken to create a new company structure, better suited to adapt to company evolution, growth and increased operational efficiency.

One of the main areas where Bywaters is focusing attention is on customer service. Two new departments have been created, each of them with a specific focus. The 'Business Direct' team will manage new accounts, while the 'Account Management' team will handle existing and established accounts.

The Transport Department has also undergone some major changes and has been reorganised into two separate shifts: one starting at 4:30am and the second finishing at 19:30pm, with a hand-over period around midday. This move has been designed to increase efficiency by increasing the availability of services.

Finally, a new group under the general title of 'Commercial Policy' will take a strategic and economic view of Bywaters' pricing and will be involved with the development of new logistical business services.

Some of these internal changes are taking effect and their benefits can be measured: the results are very encouraging indeed. With all the exciting changes outlined above, Bywaters believes it can now offer our valued customers an even better level of service.
