Just to let you all know that last night at the National Business Awards Southern Regional Final, Bywaters won the award for innovation. The award was presented to John Glover at the award ceremony in Brighton. The award entry details our construction chute and compactor system that we have used successfully on the high rise building projects at Canary Wharf.
It is excellent that we have won the award and is a great reflection of the hard and innovative work of many members of staff across all departments. Many thanks to all those have been involved in the development and success of this project, the award is for everyone.
The country is split into four regions and there will be a national final in November when we will compete on a national level for the Business Innovation Award.
We were runners-up in the award for best use of technology but unfortunately we did not win this category.
