Bywaters was proud to come joint second in the category of "Innovation" in this year's East London Business Awards which were held at the London Arena Docklands.
Bywaters was a winner of the Innovation award in 2001 for its role in designing and developing the unique Resource compaction system which is now being successfully and efficiently used in major construction projects in London.
This year, Bywaters' entry was based on the innovative communication system that we use between our four sites.
Bywaters planned, installed and commissioned a microwave link between the sites. We successfully provided a seamless connection for voice and data communications with adequate "bandwidth" in a very cost-efficient way. For 90% less annual cost, we have achieved triple bandwidth, ensuring an efficient operation without system capacity bottlenecks. The result was a success.
We are pleased that our innovative approach has been recognised by East London Business Awards and look forward to further developments.
